Kira has been sculpting since she was a child, her first experience with Sculpey was creating a little horse when she was 10! She went to art school and became a potter and an educator with a BW in Art Education and several years of teaching experience and then re-discovered polymer clay for jewelry making and sculpting.

Ilysa has been working with the clay since she discovered it in NYC. She began caning and never looked back, earning awards such as Best in Show and travelled the country showing and selling her art for 10 years.

We started Polymer Clay TV on YouTube in 2007, wrote our first book Polymer Clay Art Jewelry in 2013, hosted the first of many Polymer Clay Adventures in 2015, opened CreateAlong tool shop in 2015, and we just keep creating.
